Rahul Gandhi to address rally in Himachal Pradesh on Women’s Day

Congress vice president Mr. Rahul Gandhi will address a public rally in Dharamshala town of district Kangra on International Women’s Day March 8, a party leader said Monday.

His rally in Dharamshala would start the party’s campaign for the Lok Sabha elections, state Congress president Mr. Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu told media at Shimla.

Mr. Sukhu said that prior to the rally, Gandhi would meet Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee office-bearers in Dharamshala.

Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi held a public rally on February 16 in Sujanpur town of Hamirpur district, to prepare the party cadres in the state.
