Sports bill will not apply on HPCA says CM

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has confirmed that the sports bill, which was cleared by the state cabinet today, would not apply on the HPCA, the cricketing body headed by Mr. Anurag Thakur.

Leader of opposition Prem Kumar Dhumal said that he would comment on this bill, as it would soon come for approval in the state legislature assembly. The modality of this bill is not in public domain yet. However bill would not affect the functioning of Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association, which had been converted into a company and matter, is in the court.
