Campaign Reservation Express reaches Dharamsala

Dharamsala: Volunteers of Campaign Reservation Express reached Dharamsala this morning amidst much excitement among local supporters of the initiative. On reaching War Memorial, the campaign team was received by members of Jagori, Nishtha and local self-help groups.

Initiated by ANHAD, the Campaign Reservation Express, aiming to pres for the Women Reservation Bill, has been endorsed by a large number of women networks, organisations and civil society groups. On a mission to cover 56-odd cities and towns covering a distance of nearly 15,000 km, the caravans will culminate in Delhi on June 7.
