No more ‘Achche Din’ for mafia: Himachal CM

    Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram today addressed the first press conference after electing for the CMO and emphatically made it clear that with his induction there is no more achche din for all type of mafia which flourished during the last five years of Congress rule. Mr. Thakur said that his Government is committed to giving the good governance as the faith of people has shaken after Gudiya and Hoshiyar Singh cases.

    The peaceful State like Himachal Pradesh was being ruled by the various mafia to be rooted out in the under present regime as drugs, liquor, mine and Forest mafia had mushroomed up in this hill state during the last five years. I make it clear that there is no more achche din of any mafia under BJP new Government. He said that his Government would not work with political vendetta and all the cases including Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association on the political consideration would be withdrawn by his Government.

    He said that helplines to start in three police ranges in Shimla, Kangra and Mandi soon as the modality is already being final. The helpline would be linked with the CMO and monitored by the Chief Minister. Mr. Thakur said that law and order and menace of synthetic drug is in the alarming stage which Government would completely eradicate with tuning up of the law and order.

    He accepted that the infamous incident of Gudiya Gang Rape and murder of Hosiyar Singh damaged the reputation of State police which would be restored after taking swift action he said that his Government would ensure that all women related crimes would be linked action taken the report or ATR within 48 hrs of filing of FIR. He, however, said that Director General of Police Mr. Somesh Goel has not been replaced for his involvement in Gudiya Gang rape case however new government reshuffled the administrative and police officer routinely.

    Mr.Thakur said that winter session of assembly is marked by the change over of Government and taking over the guard by the BJP. Extending his welcome to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Party president Amit Shaha and 11 CM and Deputy CM, Chief Minister said that they way PM visited his oath-taking ceremony is an important development for this small state. Mr. Thakur said that people of this hill state has a number of expectations from him and he had directed the Government to act upon all corruption cases on the behalf of the administration and his regime would also take stiff action on such people who are roaming free under last Cong regime.

    1. I must appreciate your services to our State since long.Also your encouragement to public to write in is also appreciable. I had written in 2007 & you edited the title to make it interesting ” The Fallacy of Belief”. I could not continue writing due to my own slackness. However I shall try to pick up on the current issues as & when & reflect in benefiting manner.
