Legal literacy drive about blue whale game

The District Legal Literacy Service Authority (DLLSA) today launched the drive against the drastic result of the notorious game and Cyber Crime awareness among the school children in Shimla district. Secretary of DLLSA and additional chief magistrate Shimla Mr. Vivek Sharma today launch the drive at New Shimla DAV school in which 500 students took part in the drive. Mr. Sharma said that this game affects the mental faculty of children which may lead to disastrous consequences. He said that the culprits of cyber crime could not evade the stringent provisions of law and the accused would get definitely convicted.

 

He said that very effective laws are enacted to deal with such cyber crime and are enforced effectively. He also advised the children, Teachers and parents to always keep aware about the curses and misuses of Information Technology. Stressing to take time bound action in wake of violation and falling trap of the crime Mr Sharma said that this drive would be extended to others schools in the district so that children and teenagers did not fall into its trap.

 

Meanwhile talking to Himvani, SP cyber crime Shimla Mr. Sandep Dhawal said that after the report of death ten years old student of public school Deha yesterday due to this game DSP cyber crime has been sent to further investigate the matter. The preliminary report said that deceased did not use the father mobile number. Mr. Dhawal said that he would be able to tell more after the investigation.
