The BJP legislative party today submitted a memorandum to the Himachal Pradesh Governor Acharya Devvrat, seeking dismissal of Virbhadra Singh Government, alleging that law and order were completely broken down and the State was governed by the anti-social elements. About 30 MLA belonging to opposition BLP led former chief minister Mr. Prem Kumar Dhumal and party State President  Mr. Satpal Singh Sati met with Governor Devvrat.

After exercising their vote for President election all the BJP MLA arrived at Raj Bhavan and submitted two paged memorandum seeking dismissal of Virbhadra Singh rule. The BJP Legislative party apprised the Governor about latest developments, rising the heinous crime and frequent incidents of breaking down of law and order in the State. The memorandum said that recent heinous gang-rape and murder of a minor school girl and the subsequent move by the concerned police officers to cover up the crime at Kotkahi caused discontentment against Virbhadra Government.

The BJP leader said that amid public pressure on Kothkhai blind gang and murder rape, Chief Minister decided to hand over the probe to CBI, however, the Government did not explain why it was protecting the real culprit and why photograph of suspects was withdrawn from Chief minister facebook wall after it was posted to boost up arrest of real culprits. The recent killing of the forest guard in Karsog forest beat Hoshiyar Singh during the duty and converting of the mysterious killing case to suicide also exposed state police to work under some pressures as attempts also been made to cover up the crime. They alleged that in last four year a boy was brutally murdered throwing his body in the drinking water tank, however, state police did not work in haste and father of victim have sought justice after knocking the door of the court to seek probe.

They alleged that a Municipal Corporation councilor Sanjay Kumar who joined BJPL after winning recent election as Independent candidate was publicly assaulted by few Youth Congress goons. They also alleged that number of rapes and murder cases were registered under this government which shows that state government remains to fail to provide security to the people rather protecting the anti-social elements who are involved in the criminal act. BJP leaders pointed out that state government officials and Joint Director Industry Tilak Raj Sharma were nabbed by the CBI recently who alleged that he was forced to extort bribe to pay with the CMO. Seeking dismissal of four and half years Congress rule from the State BJP said that a Government which remained fail to ensure the free and fair governance State and indulged to protect anti-social elements should be oust.
