Youth Congress activists indulge in public thrashing of BJP Councilor: BJP

Congress party which normally blames Opposition BJP to perpetrate violence inside educational institutions is on receiving end, with a video clipping going viral in social media showing some youth Congress activists publicly thrashing BJP Councilor. Fumes on the incident, the BJP district unit and newly elected party MC councilors today cordoned Deputy Commissioner Office alleging that its recently elected councilor Sanjay Parmar was brutally assaulted in public by some youth Cong activists near Shogi market last evening.

 

The video clip shows that BJP councilor elected as an independent candidate in recent MC election was being beaten up publicly by some goons and for rebelling with the Congress. BJP protesters also submitted a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner Shimla, Mr Rohan Chand Thakur today seeking immediate arrest of perpetrators as they are at large after the incident. The Memorandum alleged that Congress goon thrashed Mr Parmar in public, throwing black inks on him and also tore his clothes.

 

It sought that FIR should be lodged under section 307 as it was being invoked under weaker sections to protect the culprits. Saffron party given an ultimatum to the administration to arrest the perpetrators of violence on councilor so that people of state capital could liberated from the reign of antisocial elements belongs to ruling Congress. BJP said that low and order was continue derailed under Virbhadra Singh regime alleging that even public representatives are not safe under its rule.

 

Memorandum alleged that public assault on the councilor is not solitary incidents on behest of Congress government but its  office have been vandalized and workers assaulted with the broke liquor bottles had lost one eye two and half year ago. Charging the administration for not learning lesson of past youth Congress violence perpetrated on the political adversary BJP alleged that it would not repeat if had properly acted earlier.
