The traditional winter sojourn of CM begins on Wednesday

    For the past many years CM of HP is making winter visit to the lower areas of Himachal to meet the public at their door steps when it is tough for them to go to capital Shimla due to biting cold weather and snowfall. During this winter sojourn CM lay number of foundation stones and make series of inauguration of the development works already completed.

     

    The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Virbhadra Singh shall begin the first phase of the traditional Winter sojourn of the lower areas from Wednesday, when he shall land at Police Stadium Dharamshala from Delhi via helicopter at 4.30 PM to rush on to start series of development works in the Dharamshala Assembly constituency.

     

    In this 7 days tour (as announced so far), CM shall make night stays at Dharamshala and proceed to Nurpur Tehsil of Kangra district the next day. CM will visit Nurpur, Indoura and Fatehpur Constituencies and surrounding areas adjoining to Pathankot of Punjab plus  Bhatiyat Constituency of Chamba District for 4 days and will return to Circuit House Dharamshala on the evening of 15th January.

     

    On 16th and 17th January CM shall visit Palampur, Baijnath and adjoining constituencies of Kangra District. The dates of the second phase of the winter sojourn will be announced later said an official.
