BJP & Congress legislators likely to keep the HP Winter Session stormy

    Including the Demonetization of high currency notes and ample of other issues likely to keep virtually cold or Winter Session of Himachal Pradesh Assembly stormy as the leaders of two parties convened there respective legislative party meeting to make floor management and strategy.

     

    The 5 day Winter Session commencing from Monday at Tapovan near Dharamshala is likely to be stormy as the Opposition BJP to hit ruling Congress on issues like dismissal of CM Virbhadra Singh appeal by Income Tact Appellate Tribunal and filling of challan in money laundering case against LIC agents of MR. Singh Mr. Anand Chauhan.

     

    The Congress legislators may raise the issue of demonetisation and its impact on the economy beside it may raise the issue of prejury charges against BCCI president Mr. Anurag Thakur by the amuis curiae of Supereme Court Gopal Subermanium in defence. The Congress Government just completing 4th year in the power and sixth stints of Mr. Singh may highlight its achievements in the floor of house moreover party convened a public meeting at Dharamshala on Dec 24 to be addressed by AICC President Mr. Rahul Gandhi celebrating four years of its rule.

     

    The BJP State President and legislator from Una assembly segments Mr. Satpal Sati said that party today convened final meeting of seven member charge sheet committee at Dharamshala today beside it would choke out its floor management to emphatically raise the various issues of corruption charges and ongoing trial against the Chief Minister in a BJP legislative party meeting convened today. He said that party may raised the other issues like deliberate delay in execution of central projects like roads depriving people of this hill state from its benefits.

     

    The Chief Minister who are facing cases by Enforcement Directorate (ED) and CBI as central agencies are probing charges of Prevention of Money Laundering Act, Forgery and amassing disproportionate assets. On the other hand Congress legislative party meeting convened on Dec 18 at Dhauldhar hotel before the first day of post lunch session to counter and face the all expected move of Opposition.

     

    Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mukesh Agnihotri told media person before this session today Government is ready to discuss and debate on all issues in the house however the BJP members raise them under assembly rule of business. It is expected that five day session likely to conclude in stormy note as BJP would reveal its charge sheet after presenting to Governor Mr. Achayara Devvart on Dec 25 and before Congress party would boost up its strength on Dec 24 in party rally at Dharamshala and arrival of Mr. Rahul Gandhi on Dec 23 in the town.

     

    The HP Assembly have received as many as 232 starred and 141 unstarred queries which includes burning issues of state politics like unproductive spending in the state and under recovery of levies and giving free reigns to various mafia like Liquor, narcotics, mining, transfer of employees, illicit felling of trees, undoused forest inferno etc.
