The Urban development Minister of Himachal, Sh. Sudhir Sharma has said that a Government school in each Assembly Constituency of the State is being converted as a Model School. He said “Rs. 30 crore shall be spent to modernization of these schools.” These facilities will help the students of these school to compete with private schools.
The minister was speaking at the annual day function of Government Senior Secondary school Passu near Dharamshala on Friday. The Minister said 1850 school students of Kangra district were awarded Laptops for their excellence in board exams. He said that a new building of Passu school shall come up soon. He also inaugurated the new building of Primary Health center in the village.
