Duo held after seizing 15 Deodar logs from a pick up

Two persons were arrested by police after recovery of 15 Deodar logs from their possession during police ‘Naka’ at Pulbahal near Chopal in the intervening night of Dec 13 and 14, police communique issue said.

 

SP Shimla Mr. D.W. Negi said that a case was registered under section 379, 34 of Indian penal code and 41,42 Indian Forest Act. When a police party from police station Chopal in the intervening night of Dec 13 and 14, 2016 during Nakabandi at Pulbahal intercepted a Mahindra Pick-Up along with two persons namely Ram Gopal R/O Sayarla PO Bhujal Tehsil Rajhgarh District Sirmour and Ramesh Chand R/O Ghalana PO Kuthar Tehsil Theog District Shimla.

 

The Police intercepted them when they were coming from Thundal to Pulbahal recovering 15 Logs of Deodar from the vehicle under their possession. Accused have been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated.
