HP Rajbhavan to be ‘cashless’

Himachal Pradesh Governor Acharya Devvrat today urged the people to adopt a ‘cashless’ transaction in this hill state announcing to completely make Rajbhavan cashless as all transactions today onwards be made online. Issuing a communique of this today the spokesman of Rajbhavan said that Governor today announced that it would go cashless and all payments will be made online.

 

The Governor has directed the Raj Bhawan staff to ensure that all transactions be made online and stressed on the need for adopting a cashless system across the state, he added. He also called upon the teachers and NGOs to make people aware about cashless transactions and welcomed the decision of PM Narendra Modi to demonetize Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes to unearth black money, running a parallel economy.

 

He expressed hope that the cashless economy would go a long way in completely eliminating black money and people would also get accustomed to it.
