The Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh was discharged today after three days of hospitalization due to chest infection and viral fever, a doctor said. The Official sources said Mr. Singh would not attend public engagements for atleast five days.
Senior Medical Superintendent Ramesh Chand said that Chief Minister, who was hospitalised at the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMCH) on October 31, has almost recovered. He informed that Mr. Singh had complained of congestion and was facing breathing problems. “All his tests are normal. For the last two days he was kept in the hospital just for observation,” he added.
Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda, who was in Shimla to attend a function to mark the birth anniversary of India’s first Home Minister Vallabh bhai Patel, along with Governor Acharya Devvrat and his Cabinet colleagues had also visited the hospital.
