Chief Minister attends ‘Iftar Party’

The Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Virbhadra Singh attended the ‘Iftar Party’ hosted by the Chairman State WAQF Board Khwaja Khalil Ullah in Shimla today.

He extended felicitations of Ramzan to all the people of the State, especially the Muslim brethren and said that the people of different religions were living in harmony in the State. He said that the month of Ramzan was pious and sacred for the Muslims. He said that for a healthy society, it was important to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood.

Khwaja Khalil Ullah welcomed the Chief Minister. He said that Mr. Virbhadra Singh was a benefactor of the poor people and devoted his time for redressing the grievances of the needy and deserving and was an inspiration for others.

The former MP and Chairperson, State Red Cross Hospital Welfare Section Ms. Pratibha Singh, DC Shimla Mr. Rohan Thakur and people of various communities also attended the ‘Iftar Party’.
