Sizzling heat waves persist in the State

Sizzling heat waves continue blowing in the hill state forcing the people from the other Northern Indian states to take refuge in the hill stations today.

Shimla recorded high at 28.3 degree Celsius, Una was down by few notches of yesterday recorded 42 degree today. Sundernagar 36.8 degrees, Bhuntar in Kullu 34.6 degrees, Kalpa in Kinnaur 23 degrees, Dharamshala 31.8 degrees, Nahan 36.6 degrees and Solan 32.5 degrees respectively.

Despite worst road conditions Kinnaur, Kullu and Chamba district were popular hill destination in the State as mercury was comparatively low to rest of the State. Shimla, Kufri, Narkanda, Manali, Dalhousie, Chail and Kasauli remained packed to their entire capacity in last 24 hours.

The Met office forecast mainly dry weather in the State for the next 24 hours.
