Summer showers & snowfall makes weather pleasant in Himachal

The high reaches of Himachal Pradesh experienced snowfall and down streams experienced summer showers bringing down the heatwaves and turned the weather pleasant.

This temperature recorded at Shimla was 21.6 degrees, Sundernagar 31.2 degrees, Bhuntar 24.6 degrees, Kalpa 13.4 degrees, Dharamshala 27.8 degrees, Una 36.2 degrees, Nahan 30.8 degrees, respectively.

Keylong headquarter of tribal Lahaul-Spiti recorded five centimeters snowfall. High reaches like Lady of Keylong, Seven sister hills, gateway to Lahaul Spiti Rohtang pass, Kunzum pass and other higher places recorded good spell of snowfall.

Rainfall recorded in Gohar in Mandi 30 mm, Baldwara 22 mm, Jubbal in Shimla, Bhuntar 12 mm each, Bijahi in Mandi 8 mm, Kalpa. 9 mm each, Bajura in Kullu 8mm, Seobagh, Sundernagar, in Mandi Mehre 7 mm each, Shimla, Sunnibajji, Kotkhai, Reckong peo in Kinnaur and Mandi 6 mm each.

The minimum temperature of Shimla 9.6 degrees, Sundernagar 12.2 degrees, Bhuntar 9.4 degrees, Kalpa 1.3 degrees, Dharamshala 13.8 degrees, Una 16.6 degrees, Nahan 18.5 degrees, Solan 12.5 degrees, Manali 4 degrees, Kangra 13.6 degrees, Keylong -3.1 degrees, Saluni in Chamba 9.5 degrees respectively.

Met Office forecast rain and thundershowers in isolated part of mid and high reaches.
