Doctors threaten to lodge protest if government fails to provide security net in hospitals

Himachal Pradesh Medical Officers Association has decided to lodge a protest if state government fails to provide security to the doctors in hospitals.

Dr. Sant Lal Sharma, President of HMOA and Dr. Jiwanand Chauhan, the General Secretary said in a press statement that concrete action shall be taken against the perpetrators who had manhandled a lady doctor at Sanj hospital in Kullu District.

Members of the association threaten to bear black batch for two weeks if security is not provided to the doctors in hospitals and concrete action shall be taken against the perpetrators.

If no action is taken subsequently the association would go on a pen down strike for two hours (9.30 -11.30 AM) for two weeks and HMOA would go on a mass casual leave which will be followed by a drastic action.
