Government to confer award to E-Vidhan project on Himachal Day

    Himachal Pradesh government has decided to confer award to E-Vidhan project on the occasion of Himachal Day on April 14, 2016.

    A press communiqué released by the Vidhan Sabha secretary Mr. Sunder Lal Verma said that Mr. Virbhadra Singh would hand over this award to Vidhan Sabha IT officer Mr. Dharmesh Sharma at Ridge ground.

    State assembly adopted paperless working after deploying number of gadgets for it’s functioning. On concluding remarks Mr. Brij Bihari Lal Butail, Vidhan Sabha Speaker lauded efforts for speedily adopting E-Vidhan in the day-to-day work of Himachal Pradesh Assembly. He said that members of state assembly adopted online E-Vidhan Sabha system to put up their 227 questions to be raised in the house during the budget session concluded today.

    This hill state is first in the country which has fully computerized its functioning and laptops have been installed inside the house for legislators and media persons in the media gallery.
