Swine flu toll goes up to 20 in Himachal Pradesh

    Mr.Kaul Singh Thakur , Health Minister Himachal has informed the assembly today that with two more deaths the toll of swine flu has gone up to twenty .

    “Twenty people have lost their lives in the state till date and a maximum of seven deaths were reported in Shimla district” he informed.

    He said two deaths due to the influenza were reported in Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMCH) in Shimla last (Monday) night.While 13 people died in the IGMCH and seven have died at Rajendra Prasad Medical College at Tanda in Kangra district.

    Mr. Kaul Singh also said that out of 302 samples were collected out of which 79 tested positive and fifty patients having symptoms of swine flu have been treated.
