Hair is the most important aspect of your overall look and the crowd of Shimla is experimenting with different looks and styles whether it is puff ponytails or a fringe above the forehead there are lot of changes in hairstyles that women can experiment with this year. Although something new is reported each year but the styles tend to evolve slowly.

Girls can customize any good trend like Multi layer, Scare layer, Round layer or Hourglass depending on face shape, hair length and hair type. “To predict any particular trend is little difficult as there has been no drastic change in the styling from what we have seen in last few months but braided up do’s fishtails, twists and knots is making a comeback this year. Now a days the teenagers are more conscious about their looks and mostly drop into the salon to get a hair cut of their favorite television or movie star ” says Meet a hair expert from L’Oreal, New Shimla.

When it comes to hair color nothing is as simple as Black and White but blondes still rule the world and have continued to rule our hearts. But this year trends are going to be more creative and bolder and it is the time to change the shade or tone of your hair with hues of colors like red, blue and green. Depending on the haircut one can opt for dyeing, paneling, streaks which starts at Rupees 500 each or global coloring starting from Rupees 3000 at any good salon.

“Summer time is full of bright colors and is the best season to get some unique and temporary change and so for me braids are a great way to get the hair up and off the face and neck. Braids are an easy option to forget about hair styling for months as they make a good space for creativity says Aprajita Sharma from Saint Bede’s College.

Hair accessories are back in a big way and the best part about them is that girls of any age can try these as they add an extra flare to any outfit so one can try on some accessories like golden headbands and leather fasteners.  If one wants to just slip in something to make a more fashionable statement one can pick some affordable accessories from Madame on the Mall Road. A good variety of fashionable accessories in blooming flowers, colorful hair bands and bead-studded headpieces are available here within the range of Rs150-800.

“The traditional Indian hair trends have been with us through many generations but today everyone is on the hunt to try something new and fresh. This year girls will have option to try from soft tresses, layering to side-swept waves or retro look which has always been the favorite among different age groups. Undoubtedly blondes have always rocked but if we look at the latest fashion shows we will find models carrying fantastic examples of hair highlights and in order to make them look more natural you can try with one or two shades lighter than your base color” adds Prem a hair stylist of Matrix, New Shimla.

Puff hairstyles were a fashion statement of the yesteryear heroines and are fun for both casual and formal occasions. For ones who desire to look funky can prefer to use a fringe which is still the hottest feature of women’s hair trends and is also a great way to look fresh without much variation and can be worn by anyone and all it needs is to be styled in a good shape. Another option is point cut fringe or razor cutting slicing that can be worn for more feminine and fine look.

Though the choice is abound and is just around the corner many of us prefer it our way yet it should look sensual to be a source of inspiration for this year’s hottest hairstyles.
