Himachal Pradesh high court ordered the state of Himachal Pradesh to file report on latest investigation against Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association on Tuesday, as cricket body knocked the door of high court against the state government move recently.

After hearing the argument of both the parties, single bench of acting Chief Justice Mansoor Ahmad Mir passed these orders on the petition filed by the HPCA, seeking quashing of FIR against it under Prevention of Corruption Act contending that the FIR was vague, malicious and a result of political vendetta.

The high court directed the state to file latest investigation report into the case registered against HPCA under Prevention of Corruption Act in a confidential cover by or before March 11.

The matter came before this court earlier before winter vacation was listed yesterday for the hearing. The court partly heard the arguments of the parties and posted the matter for March 11

This was second petition of HPCA as it had been seeking relief in similar other petition filed before the same court last year in which court reverted the possession of HPCA international cricket stadium at Dharamshala.
