Former Chief Minister and leader of opposition in state assembly Prem Kumar Dhumal alleged today that state government was evading reply of accusation about graft charge on Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, as it had not allowed to consider adjournment motion of opposition in the house today.

Mr. Dhumal speaking to media persons at opposition lounge said that since charges of buying shares from a private firm by Chief Minister and his family members is very important issue raised by opposition, government was evaded after not allowing members to raise in the house today.

A firm engaged in a project in the state was also involved in the deal of shares with Chief Minister is a very important issue raised by BJP members as it is a matter of corruption and should be allowed by the chair for discussion, Mr. Dhumal said.

Though Chief Minister  has full right to buy shares from any register firm but it was engaged in the state issue unsecured loan to Mr. Singh confirmed in an affidavit submitted by Congress member of Lok Sabha from Mandi Mrs. Pratibha Singh, wife of Chief Minister.

Is it not injustice with the opposition to gag their voice by not allowing them twice when they raised issues as people of this state want to know about it, Mr. Dhumal said.

In the very first day of this winter session BJP legislative party also brought adjournment motion over CBI probe against Chief Minister in similar charges, he observed.

Replying to opposition accusations Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said that Chief Minister is in public life for last more than 51 years as its his six time Chief Minister tenure and had never been leveled with such charge before.

In a systematic way BJP was trying to tarnish the clean image of Mr. Singh by leveling frivolous charges to mislead people of this hill state for political gains, which will not succeed, as Chief Minister has got public mandate for five years term, Mr. Agnihotri said slamming the opposition.

Anyone could buy the shares of register firms, and if Chief Minister had purchased then it is not violation of any law. He has legal right to buy any shares, therefore, charges of opposition is baseless. He said that it was second time in five day of this session that similar adjournment was brought without merit. He said that both the motion was under rule 67 and pertained to false accusation on Chief minister as similar motion could be raised under same rule is not allowed.

He said that opposition was not interested in the business of house and trying to disrupt the proceeding of house on the issue which has no legitimacy.

The discord is continue between the two and no one is ready to give up as only last day was left of this session tomorrow.
