With 382 lead of HP, Assam lost six wickets on 97 runs

Playing for the second innings in the Ranji trophy at HPCA cricket stadium Dharamshala today. Assam lost six wickets today after making 97 runs, chasing huge lead of 382 runs in first innings against host Himachal Pradesh.

As they play resumed game today, HP declared at 463 losing 9 wickets giving lead of 382 runs in the first innings. For host B.B. Sharma scored 102 runs in 130 balls not out including 14 boundaries and 1 six and Nikhal Gagata missed his century by just 1 run as he lost his wicket at 99 runs today.

As play end today top order of Assam were already back to the pavilion after chasing the huge target. Assam lost 6 wickets today in 37 overs play for second innings scoring 97 runs as opener. P.P. Dass and Niraj Patel were back to pavilion without scoring any run while Dheeraj Jadhav and K.N. Saikia was at 22 and 13 on the crease when lost ball played. In the first innings on November 28 Assam was all out at 81.

V. S. Malik and Rishi Dhawan got two each wickets today for HP giving 15 and 42 runs in 12 and 13.6 overs respectively.

HP seemed to be heading victorious there as one day play to go.
