Five lakh people visited Himachal pavillion in IITF

An estimated five lakh people have visited Himachal pavilion in India International Trade Fair 2013 being held at Pragati maidan New Delhi said Mr. R.R. Patyal today.

He said that the Himachali woolen products and organic products are in big demand in national capital and Himachali woolen shawls, caps and wollen socks are fetching attractive prices to the stall holders due to coming winter season in the market and told that traditionally Himachali woolen products are preferred by the people due to quality standard and attractive designs of these products

Mr. R.R. Patyal, director of pavilion said that for the safety of the pavilion, private security has been hired who are manning the security round the clock. He said that in order to ensure round the clock power in the pavilion, a standby 25 KVA capacity three phase generator has been set up in the pavilion during the entire IITF. He said that modern fire safety measures have been taken in the pavilion under which 26 smoke detectors, 31 sprinklers have been set up at all the strategic points in the pavilion.

Trained firemen have been deployed to handle the fire system during the fair. He added that three fire hoses have been provided and water tanks with storage capacity of 75000 litres has been set up in the pavilion. A one KVA inverter has been provided to provide emergency light. 8 CCTV cameras with 960 hours recording facility have been provided to effective monitor the security and other arrangements in the pavilion.
