Mercury still under subzero in tribal parts of HP

Giving little respite from cold wave bright sunshine and mainly dry weather improvised temperature in Himachal Pradesh as it rise slightly. However, mercury was still under subzero in tribal districts of the state.

Minimum temperature slightly rise up as it was bright sunshine in the day following mainly dry weather.

The mercury was up in Dalhousie and Shimla which recorded low at 9.3 degrees each, Palampur in Kangra 10 degrees and Solan 4 degrees, all up by one degrees each.

Chamba recorded 4.2 degrees which was up by 0.2 degrees, Bilaspur 8.6 degrees an up by 0.7 degrees and Nahan in Sirmaur district 9.9 degrees which was an up by 0.7 degrees, Keylong was coldest at minus 4.7 degrees in Lahaul and Spiti a rise of 0.4 degrees and Manali recorded 0.6 degrees, an up of 0.2 degrees.

Kalpa in Kinnaur district recorded 1.2 degrees, a decline by 0.2 degrees, Bhuntar in Kullu district 2.5 degrees which was down by 0.3 degrees. Dharamshala and Kangra was 8.6 degrees and 6 degrees respectively, a down by 0.2 degrees each, Sundernagar in Mandi district 3.5 degrees, a down by 0.8 degrees, Hamirpur 4.9 degrees down by 0.3 degrees, Una 6 degrees down by 0. 5 degrees respectively.

Indian Meteorological Department forecast no major change in prevailing weather conditions.
