Human resource center celebrates ‘World Rural Women’s Day’

Human resource center celebrated ‘World Rural Women’s Day’ after highlighting the problems posed to them in the state and country.

The program jointly held by HRC Shimla, Himachal Gyan Vigyan Samiti and YWCA was inaugurated by Reena, Zila Parishad member of Anand Pur ward.

Number of women from various Gram Panchayats were invited and participated in the program .

President of HRC Dr. Kuldeep Singh Tanwar said that village women remained indulged in various kinds of work in their daily chores as they involved them from 25 to 30 different kinds of work in every single day.

He said that despite this they have to face the negligence of the society as their  contribution is always under estimated. They take care of their pets and milking animals,  look after their households and join every small and big function in the society.

Mr. Tanwar said that currently this section was facing a severe problem of wild animal and monkey menace but no authority was giving them relief, despite lot of hue and cry has been made by people on various front.

He urged this section that they should not become victims of blind faith as there is urgent need of inculcating culture and education and promoting awareness among them to get rid of it.
