Congress had promised to restore the jobs of all replaced PTA teachers at the time of assembly elections but it has to regularize their jobs as most of PTA teachers have been given contractual appointment to be regularized after completing one year of contract period.

Some of regular teachers who have been slapped with transfer orders owing to reappointment of PTA are going to knock the door of court as they have not completed period of three years on there present posting which is mandatory under new transfer policy evoked recently on the direction of court order.

Regular teachers are of view that they should not be disturbed as number of posts are already laying vacant in the department where removed PTA could have posted.
