ABIMAS announces two rescue posts to cross Rohtang Pass

Kullu: Col Randhir Salhuria Director Atal Bihari Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Manali announced here today
that two rescue posts have been set up at Marhi and Koksar. In a communiqué released by ABIMAS here, he said that two posts would
remain functional from November 15 to November 31 to help the pedestrians to cross Rohtang Pass.

Anybody crossing Rohtang Pass on foot are requested to register themselves with the posts to take maximum benefit of the scheme. Manali-Leh road is already off for vehicular traffic after snowfall on Baralacha and others passes, but is still open for vehicular traffic in between Manali to Keylong.
