Monsoon rains continue to lash Himachal

Shimla (July 17): Monsoon rains continued to lash Himachal Pradesh today, with Shimla, Kullu, Una, Kangra, Solan and Hamirpur district receiving continuous rainfall.

The Met office recorded 22 mm rain in Kotkhai of Shimla, 4 mm and 3 mm
at Theog and Jubbal respectively. Una got 15 mm rain, tourists resort
Manali in Kullu & Saloni in Chamba 9 mm each, Dharamshala in Kangra
8 mm, tourist resort Kasauli 7 mm, Paonta in Sirmour 4 mm respectively.

Minimum temperature of Shimla was 16 degree Celsius, Mandi, Sundernagar and Nahan 21 degrees, Bhuntar 18.9 degrees, Kalpa 13.4 degrees, Solan and Dharamshala 18.1 degrees each, Una 23 degrees and Keylong 12.7 degrees.

The Met office forecast rain or thundershower at many parts of Himachal Pradesh during next 24 hours.
