Rainfall at Dharamsala before IPL march

Shimla (May 17): Partly cloudy and hazy weather conditions today contained the Mercury in the state even as Una recorded 42.8 degree Celsius, while it was 43 degrees yesterday. Meanwhile, Dharamsala, which is to host its second IPL match later in the night, received rainfall this evening.

The Met office recorded Mandi town and Sundernagar at 37 degree Celsius, Bhuntar in Kullu 35.2 degrees, Nahan of Sirmaur 34.7 degrees and Dharamshala in Kangra 33.2 degrees, Shimla 28.4 degrees and Kalpa 23.4 degrees respectively.

Minimum at Shimla, Dharamshala and Sundernagar were 20 degrees each, Bhuntar 17.4 degrees, Kalpa 11.2 degrees, Una and Mandi 21 degrees each, Nahan 29.1 degrees, Keylong 9.5 degrees, Palampur 23.2 degrees and Solan 19.5 degrees. The Met office said dry weather will continue in the state for next 24 hours.
