Man and woman stabbed in two incidents in Himachal

Una: A woman was killed after being stabbed with knife by two motorcycle borne assailants at Bathadi area under Hroli Police station in this district. In a separate incident of similar nature a man was injured at Bathu area of same police station last night, police
sources said.

ASP Una K.G. Kapoor said that a woman was stabbed to death while she was carrying food to her husband who runs a sweetshop at Bathadi area. Motorcycle borne assailants also succeeded to take away about Rs 2500 from the shop when sweeter kipper was away from the spot. The deceased Swarni Devi (35)  was rushed to hospital where she was declared brought dead due to  injuries. After registering case under sec 392, 302, 34 of IPC, police parties have been sent to various locations to nab the culprits. Earlier SP Una Sumeda Devdi also visited the spot.

In another incident two motorcycle borne assailants injured Jarnail Singh after stabbing him with sharp weapon before snatching Rs 400 from him at Bathu area under Haroli Police station. The victim was going to recharge his mobile phone at 09:00 pm. The police has lodged FIR under sec 382, 323 and 34 of IPC in this case, while injured has been admitted at Haroli hospital and is reported out of danger.
