  1. The project has become an issue during first gram sabha (feb 6,2011) of Parchhode Panchayat .People of panchayat has moved a resolution against this project .Actually the water for irrigation to nurpur IPH sub division is being diverted from chakki and kalam khudd of bhattiyat (chamba).People of this area (bhattiyat) has formed a SANGHARSH SAMITI to oppose this project.President of himalaya bachao niti abhiyan Kulbhushan Upmanyu is too supporting the cause saying that this project is against natural justice.Local MLA Kuldeep Pathania also said that being MLA of area He has not been awared of project so far .So even after approval this project seems to face hurdles yet.
