Kasauli: Despite giving assurance for not hiking the fee and other dues being levied from student studying in the St. Mary School, Parents’ Association alleged in a press statement released today that fee has been hiked abnormally.

Press secretary of St. Mary Parents’ Association Surinder Shandil alleged in a press statement today that despite having dialogue with school Principal on Feb 14, 2011, giving word to not to hike the fee, the school management has done it by 65 percent.
He said that during last calendar year, the management had increased the fee by 50 percent,  adding up to Rs 630 per and now it is adding up to Rs 1030 per student after levying other charges on the name of introducing IT in school. However, management claims that it has hiked the fee to Rs 830 from Rs 630. Protesting over the fee hike, parents have again requested the school management to reconsider its decision.
