‘Prashashan Janta Ke Dwar’ held at Sihunta

Shimla: Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal presided over the ‘Prashashan Janta Ke Dwar’ programme in the remote area of Sihunta in district Chamba today where he gave personal hearing to the grievances of the public of the area. Women in large number from the adjoining villages were present for redressal of their grievances. On 250 cases, Chief Minister directed the concerned authorities for remedial steps at appropriate level on priority.  Majority of grievances concerned to revenue, IPH, education, social welfare, public works, forest and health departments.  A large number of the grievances were disposed off on the spot by passing necessary directions to the concerned authorities. He assured the applicants that their rest of requests would also be dealt with on priority and relief will be delivered to them within fixed time frame.

He also sanctioned Rs 60 lakhs for the construction of bridge over Chanal Khad, Rs 15 Lakhs sanctioned for lift water supply scheme for Ahili village of Gram Panchayat Mutla, Rs 3 Lakhs for the construction of bridge over Cholasa khad in Frindal village, Rs 2 lakhs each for construction of Mahila Mandal Bhawan at Garnota and Community Centre at Rajaien and Rs 1 Lakh for construction of crematorium for Samot and Halderh village. Besides this, Chief Minister sanctioned Rs 75000 each to Gayatri Datt  and Kripakankshi of village Golla to meet their medical expenses, Rs 5000 to Rmerah of village Uleharh village for the marriage of daughter, Rs 5000 sanctioned each to Vishamber of Suneharh and Ramesh of Saroh village and Rs 4000 to Madam Lal of Dhamnari village as medical assistance.
