Shimla: Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal held ‘Prashashan Janta Ke Dwar’ in an endeavour to bring administration at the door steps of the people, at Nurpur in district Kangra today where thousands of applicants from all over the district presented their applications urging for remedial steps at appropriate level.

As many as 407 people got their applications registered before presenting the same to the Chief Minister out of which majority were disposed off instantly while hundreds of others presented their applications without registration.  He directed the concerned departments to accord priority to the grievances of the people and dispose off the same in a time bound manner. He said that listening to the public grievances and providing reliefnwas on the priority agenda of the state government.  He said that the authorities at different level had been directed to make themselves available to the general public on working days and solve their genuine problems on priority.  He also advised the people to take benefit of various developmental and social welfare schemes being implemented in the state.  He said that additionally many of the schemes had been envisioned keeping in view scope of employment and self employment for the rural educated and un-educated youth near to their homes.  He said that additionally the state government was exploring possibilities of generating employment and self-employment avenues to the state youth in private sector as well.
