Arogya Mela at Una from Sept 25-27

Shimla: The Union government would sponsor a three-day ‘Arogya Mela’ from September 25 to 27 at Government Senior secondary School, Una to promote indigenous system of medicine.

While disclosing this, state health minister Rajiv Bindal said in a press conference here today that the department of ayurveda is organising the Arogya Mela to highlight the quality of ayurveda and other systems of medicine also known as ‘Ayush’. Ayush includes ayurveda, yoga, nature care, Unani, homoeopathy and Siddha systems of medicines. During the Mela, free treatment would be given by specialist, besides medicines to the underprivileged.
