Monsoons replenish Himachal

During last 24 hrs, monsoon has been active in Himachal Pradesh, as rainfall has occurred at most places in the state. Dharamshala received highest 58 mm rainfall followed by Bharwain in Bilaspur 55 mm, Kasauli in Solan 45 mm, Shimla 42 mm, Baldwara in Mandi 40 and Hamirpur 35 mm respectively.

After long spell of rainfall this capital town and its surrounding areas finally experienced clear weather and sunshine in the day today. However, there are reports of rainfall form many places of state.

The minimum temperature of Shimla was 16.8 degree Celsius, Sundernagar and Mandi 22.1 degrees each, Bhuntar 21 degrees, Kalpa 13 degrees, Dharamshala 18.5 degrees, Una 20.2 degrees Nahan Palampur and Solan 19.2 degrees and Keylong 14.3 degrees

The Maximum temperature of Shimla and Kalpa was 22 degree Celsius each, Sundernagar and Manid 30 degrees each, Bhuntar and Una 32 degrees each, Dharamshala and Nahan 26 degrees each and Solan 27.8 degrees Respectively.

Met office said that rain or thundershowers are likely to occur in many places of state in next 24 hrs and heavy to very heavy rains are expected to pour in the isolated places of state.
