State legal service authority & HPU join hand to kick off anti-ragging campaign

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh University, the education department and the police have joined hands with the State Legal Services Authority to kick off an anti-ragging awareness campaign in the state beginning from August 10 at the HPU campus.

According to a HPU spokesman, HP high court Chief Justice Kurian Joseph has givenac his assent to join the campaign at HPU, which would be attended by Justice RB Mishra of high court, education minister ID Dhiman, director general of police DS Manhas and the vice-chancellors of Dr YS Parmar Horticulture University, Nauni (Solan), and Chaudhary Sravan Kumar Agriculture University, Palampur. Principals and student members of the anti-ragging committees of professional colleges have also been invited to participate.

  1. Students at School, College, University and at any other level should go through Himvani stories and need to take lesson from them. The Campaign is praise worthy and should join by all sections of students to rid out of posing threat of inhuman action on behalf of so-called senior. Let also join hand with campaign by taking pledge to not involve in any such activity. Live of all are equally important.
