Four senior IAS officers reshuffled in Himachal

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh government has ordered transfers and postings of four IAS officers besides giving additional charge. Manoj Kumar, commissioner, industries, who was also holding the additional charge of managing director, Nahan Foundry and MD HP Financial Corporation, Shimla, has been transferred and posted as chief electoral officer, Himachal Pradesh. He will also function as secretary, election, to the government of Himachal Pradesh.

The services of Anil Kumar Khachi, chief electoral officer cum secretary (election) has been placed at the disposal of the government of India for his appointment as deputy director general (headquarters) in Unique Identification Authority of India under the Planning Commission of India. Similarly, Jagdish Chander Sharma, excise and taxation commissioner, Himachal Pradesh, has been given the additional charge of director, industries and managing director, Nahan Foundry. KK Pant, director, Public Finance and Public Enterprises cum secretary (finance) and director, treasuries, Accounts and Lotteries, has been given additional charge of managing director, HP Finance Corporation, Shimla.
