29 killed as bus falls into gorge at Haripur in Himachal

Dehra: At least 29 people were killed and 27 others injured when a bus fell off the road into a gorge near Haripur in Kangra district today morning. The private bus was on its way from Nagrota Suriyan to Dehra. Though the cause of the accident is yet be ascertained, eyewitnesses said the bus was overloaded and the driver lost control over the vehicle. Kangra SP Atul Kumar Fulzele said rescue operation was on and the casualty figure was expected to increase.
