D’sala to have first rehabilitation centre for cricketers

Dharamsala: Bringing it a step closer to hosting international matches, the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association stadium here is set to get the first injury rehabilitation centre for cricketers in the country. Confirming this, HPCA spokesperson Sanjay Sharma said BCCI has given go ahead for the project and the facility would be available before the next edition of Indian Premier League. A sum of Rs 8 crore has been earmarked for the rehabilitation centre and HPCA has already started contacting sports medicine specialists to avail their services.
