Shimla: Paragliding at Bir-Billing got into more trouble as two Russian paragliders sustained injuries after they crash-landed after take-off from Billing on saturday evening. According to SDM Baijnath KK Saroch, the paragliders – Mikhil and Dennis Kulikov – probably lost their way due to strong winds and had to crash-land. Both sustained pelvic and leg injuries and were admitted to a private hospital.

While the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Department has decided not to hold the pre-world cup paragliding championship at Bir-Billing this year, while a local association, Billing Paragliding Association, has decided to hold the meet on its own.
