GPF annual accounts statements for 2008-09 issued

Shimla: The annual sccounts statements of GPF for the year 2008-09 of Himachal Pradesh gGovernment employees have been despatched to the respective drawing and disbursing Officers in the state for distribution amongst subscribers working under them, according to the Accountant General (Accounts and Entitlement), Himachal Pradesh. Subscribers are advised to obtain their annual account statements from the respective drawing and disbursing 0fficers and examine them thoroughly. They should confirm that the balances shown therein are correct, or point out to the office of the Accountant General (A&E) Himachal Pradesh, Shimla the discrepancies, if any, noticed by them. Full particulars of such missing credits/debits can be sent to the Accountant General (A &E), Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, duly certified by their drawing and disbursing Officers by 30th September, 2009.

The Accountant General has further said that GPF subscribers who have not filed their nominations or who want to change their previous nominations should do at once in their own interest through their DDOs keeping in view the Rule 5 and Rule 2(c)(i) (ii) of GPF (Central Services) Rules, 1960.
