ABG Shipyard gets three hydel projects in Himachal

Shimla: ABG Shipyard Ltd, a Mumbai-based ship building company, has bagged three major hydroelectric projects in the Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh following the global bidding called by the state government last year, in which surprisingly no foreign company had participated.

The projects allotted to ABG Shipyard Ltd 126-MW Bardang project, 104-MW Tandi project and 102-MW Rashil project. Two other major projects – the 104 MW Lara Sumta and 60 MW Patam – have been allotted to Calcutta Electricity Company and Surya Pharmaceutical Company of Chandigarh, respectively.
