T20 final under flood-lights at Dharamsala tonight

Dharamsala: The Dharamsala International Cricket Stadium is about to make its entry into the glamourous world of sports entertainment with the first ever flood-lights lit cricket match scheduled to be played here tonight when Bitta XI takes on Paonta Sahib in the final of the first HPCA T20 tournament.

HPCA will not be charging any ticket fee from spectators and therefore a good crowd is expected. The match will start at 7.30 pm. The winner of the tournament will get Rs 3 lakh while the loser will get Rs 2 lakh. The winners of the district-level competition will get Rs 51,000 thus making it the most rewarding cricket tournament in the state. HPCA claimed that 1,018 teams participated in the tournament thus creating a record of sorts.
