CPIM to support BSP in Himachal

Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh state secretariat of the Communist Party of India Marxist has decided to support Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidates in the three constituencies of Himachal Pradesh. The CPIM and CPI jointly are contesting the Mandi parliamentary seat. The CPIM has given a call to vote for a non-Congress secular government at the center. As per the tactics evolved for the ensuing parliamentary elections, the state secretariat of the party has decided to extend open support to the nominees of the BSP in the remaining 3 parliamentary seats namely Kangra, Hamirpur and Shimla (R) seat.
