Hamirpur girls top Himachal class X result

Dharamshala: The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board yesterday declared the results of Class X examinations in which Astha Kapil from Him Academy, Hamirpur, got first position. Interestingly, six out of top top 10 positions in the results were dominated by students from the same school.  Astta Kapil, who topped the examinations by getting 673/700 marks (96%), has attributed her success to her teachers and parents and has a dream to be a software engineer. According to the chairman of the Board, 90,0476 students appeared in the examination, which included 47,773 boys and 42,273 girls. A total of 61.28 % students passed the examinations, 54,244 directly and 13,098 with compartment.

1 Astha Kapil of Him Academy Hamirpur with 673/700 marks.
2 Priyanka Jaswal from Gurukul Public Senior Secondary School, Pakka Paroh of Una district with 670/700 marks.
3 Priyanka Thakur from Him Academy Hamirpur with 669/700 marks.
4 Lalit Thakur from Bharat Bharti Public School, Dhalpur, Kullu with 666/700 marks.
5 Vishakha Gupta from SVM Senior Secondary School, Mandi and Anushruti Mehta of Him Academy Hamirpur with 665/700 marks.
6 Kanish Jamwal from Senior Secondary School Main Bazaar Mandi with 664/700 marks.
7 Aditi Thakur from Him Academy Hamirpur with 663/700 marks.
8 Varun Sharma of DAV Senior Secondary School Una, Shakti Bharti and Divya Guleria of Him Academy Hamirpur with 662/700 marks.
9 Ishta Bhardwaj of Spring Field Public School, Nabahi with 660/700 marks.
10 Akanksha Gautam of DAV Public School Chamba and Pranshul Saini of SVM Senior Secondary School Mandi with 659/700 marks.
