Shimla: Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal would be meeting the general public four days a week, from Tuesday to Friday, from 9 AM to 10 AM at his official residence Oakover, whenever he is in Shimla. Passed necessary directions, he asked his office authorities to make necessary arrangements for the convenience of the general public.
Considered an accessible chief minister, after coming to power he could not keep up with meeting public during the past three months due to the hectic budget session of the assembly and later the Hamirpur by-polls.
Meetings by appointment would be possible during the week days from Wednesday to Friday from up till noon in his office at Ellerslie Building, said an official communiqué.
Dhumal has also fixed one hour every Thursday for meeting his cabinet colleagues from 3.00 PM to 4.00 PM and members of the state legislative assembly every Wednesday from 3.00 PM to 5.00 PM. Tuesday would be for meeting with former MLAs, freedom fighters and party office bearers, up till noon
