41.2 degrees temp in Himachal: It’s for real

HimVani
Shimla: Una on Wednesday crossed the scary 40 degree Celsius mark as the town recorded a maximum temperature of 41.2 degrees while the rest of the state too reeled under heat. The steep rise in temperature appears ominous considering the destruction sudden changes in weather pattern in the past have brought in the state.
For example, Kalpa in Kinnaur district, which had experienced snow couple of weeks ago, recorded a high of 21.4 degree Celsius. The state capital recorded the hottest day of the season with maximum temperature of 27 degree Celsius, Sundernagar37.5 degree, Dharamshala 33.8 degree and Bhuntar in Kullu district 33.2 degree Celsius. According to the met department’s forecast for next 24 hours some places are likely to receive thunder showers but so far there seems no respite from the heat.
