MDLR plane’s trial run just short of disaster

MDLR Airlines trial run at the Kullu airport in Bhuntar proved a disaster as its four-jet engine aircraft’s rear wheels bursted soon after it touched the ground. No loss of life was reporteda s the plane was not carrying any passengers and the crew too escaped unrurt, as the plane came to a screatching halt.
The aircraft with six club-class seats is to start two commercial flights from on a daily basis from Chandigarh-Kullu-Delhi and Delhi-Kullu-Chandigarh from Monday.
The flight would take 40 minutes to Delhi and 20 minutes to Chandigarh from Bhuntar and would have 64 economy and six club-fare seats. Ealier, Indian Airlines had successfully carried out test flight to the airport, which is considered to be a tough run due to a short runway that ends abruptly on the
